My Book List
I like books, how about you? My reviews will be posted as I read them.

I, Robot by: Isaac Asimov
Yes, the book that the movie was based on. However, the movie wasn't based on the entire book, it was based on the ideas that the book brought to life, a world with robots. The book contains nine short stories, that are an interesting read if you allow yourself to get into them. For those of you that are not big Sci-Fi fans, do not worry, it isn't hugely Sci-Fi.

Angels and Daemons by: Dan Brown
A very good novel. It starts off slow in the begining, but it does pick up as the story progresses. The story intertwines some science and the creation of a substance called "anti-matter" with the idea of an underground anti-religous society. It's highly entertaining with a lot of unexpected twists and turns.

DaVinci Code by: Dan Brown
This book follows Angels and Daemons, for they have a common principle in them, an underground society. However, you can read them in any order that you want for they aren't even closely related, though they share a common main character. In the DaVinci Code, our main character is on the hunt for infomation on The Holy Grail because of infomation that was left at a crime scene. Again, this book is a great thriller with a lot of twists and turns.

Digital Fortress by: Dan Brown
In this novel, Brown incorporates a technology theme into the plot. If anyone knows anything about the internet and internet security, they know that computers use an encryption to send data from one computer to another if they don't want anyone reading on their email or whatever they are transfering. This book is another thriller by Brown that revolves around the hunt for a supposed cipher key that will help unlock a file. Yet again, this is another book by Brown that packs a lot of twists.

The Boy Who was Raised as a Dog by: Dr. Bruce Perry
This book is a real-world account of Dr. Bruce Perry, a child psychiatrist, and his early dealings with children. The examples given provide several different stories about children who have grown up with neglect/abuse. Each child experiences similar effects due to the abuse/neglect, but are caused by completely different circumstances. Furthermore, these stories provide an excellent insight into the world of the human brain, especially during childhood. A must read.

More to come.
